Breakfast at Tiffany's Bridal Shower

This past Saturday I had the chance to host my best friend in the entire world's bridal shower in her beautiful home. She requested a Tiffany & Co. theme, and it was so fun to put together. Emily is the most easy-going bride of all time and has spoiled every one around her her entire life, so I was definitely excited to have a day dedicated to showering her with love! Now the countdown begins for the BIG DAY!

Philadelphia

I've only been to Philly once and it was for half a day, so this was my first time experiencing the city beyond the Liberty Bell (which is always awesome). We went to help my brother and his new wife (!!) move in to their apartment, but amidst the storage unit trips and practical-things-of-life shopping, we had a whole lot of fun. Somehow the car rental company gummed up our reservation and we ended up with a gigantic 15-passenger van. Hauling it through the one-way streets of the city was an experience in itself but the laughs it created made up for the nuisance it was to park and maneuver. After having the best Philly Cheese Steak I have ever had I started planning another trip so Jake could experience Jim's Steaks. Every single local we asked recommended Jim's and taught us the "wit' whiz wit'out wiz" ordering slang (which actually refers to cheese whiz with or without onions), but I still opted for provolone. I can't wait to go back. There's so much more to explore!
