Let's just ignore the fact that I only take out my camera when I'm out of town and have little to no documentation of normal every day life. How do I change that?! Anyway…thank the heavens for long weekends. We spent ours in La Jolla with family and friends and it was the perfect way to end the summer. I don't think I'm fooling anyone with the surfboard pictures. We took lessons and I only got on my feet once. Jake was basically a pro and I wish I had evidence but you'll just have to take my word for it.  I like to imagine that summer is ending because fall is my favorite season but Vegas prefers to stretch it out as long as possible. Right around now I start frantically making sure we experienced everything on my mental summer bucket-list, but we have a few  more weeks to fit it all in. As much as I love sweaters and pumpkin-flavored everything, I'll gladly enjoy the sunshine a little bit longer.
